The ACT Government is committed to supporting older Canberrans to live well, stay connected and participate in community life. The ACT Seniors Card Program is one way we help make this possible.
This directory is a practical resource that helps older Canberrans access discounts and concessions across a range of goods and services. From everyday essentials to health and wellbeing, the ACT Seniors Card supports choice and affordability. It also encourages older Canberrans to stay active and engaged in the wider life of the ACT.
I thank the many businesses who have joined the program. Your support helps us build communities where older people are valued. I also acknowledge the work of COTA ACT in delivering the ACT Seniors Card Program and advocating for older Canberrans. Their leadership continues to strengthen inclusion and improve access to services across the ACT and regions.
The ACT Government is proud to support initiatives which promote dignity, independence and active ageing. This includes our work for Age-Friendly Cities and Communities and new programs such as UPSTAGEING Canberra – Australia’s first Creative Ageing Arts Festival.
These initiatives celebrate the creativity and lived experience of older people and help foster strong intergenerational connections. Ageing well means having access to the right supports at the right time. The ACT Seniors Card Program is part of a commitment to making Canberra a place where people of all ages can thrive.
I encourage you to use this directory to explore new opportunities, connect with local businesses and enjoy the many experiences which Canberra has to offer.
